The show

A market story, told for everyone.

El Borsa w El Forsa — "the market and the opportunity" — is a flagship business podcast built for Egypt's fast-growing community of retail investors.

It demystifies the Egyptian Exchange and the wider investment ecosystem, turning intimidating headlines into clear, confident conversation. Every episode is studio-produced with Acumen experts and rotating guests — CEOs, CFOs, regulators, fintech founders — and hosted by Rana Adawi, Acumen's Managing Director. No hype, no jargon, no recommendations. Just the market, explained.

The education model

How every episode educates.

Company episodes follow the same four-part structure every time. A listener learns to read any business the way an analyst does — and learns it by repetition.

Part one

Business Model & Structure

How the company earns money — revenue model, ownership, competitive position.

Part two

Financials & Fundamentals

Revenue quality, profitability, balance sheet — the numbers that matter.

Part three

Management & Track Record

The people running the business — track record, execution, vision.

Part four

Growth & Expansion Plans

Forward strategy — where growth comes from and how it compounds.

The mission · why this show exists

Financial expertise, made literate at scale.

Egypt has one of the world's deepest untapped retail investor markets — and almost nobody has been taught how to enter it.

2%

of Egypt's 120 million people own an investment account today.

Every episode is built to close that gap — turning passive consumers of financial noise into informed participants in capital markets. One episode, one company, one investor at a time.

The market is only half the name. The other half is the opportunity — and that half is for the people who want to reach this audience.

And now — for sponsors & partners

The audience · who is actually reachable

The audience is almost entirely unserved.

A population with abundant financial access & digital reach yet limited stock-market participation.

The gap between people who plausibly could invest and people whose investor code is active.

Even against the conservative ≈10M estimate, roughly 90% of the addressable segment is not trading today — and the pace is shifting: about 450,000 new investors joined in the first eight months of 2026, against 299,000 in all of 2025 and 25,000 in 2020. That segment is the show's audience!

Counts accounts, not people. Facebook reach equals 53% of the population; its largest cohort is ages 25–34 (21.4M). YouTube ads reach 41.5% of the population and about half of all internet users. LinkedIn reaches about 20% of adults 18+.

On the investor count. About 3.1 million investor codes have ever been registered on the EGX, but only ≈1 million were activated and permitted to trade as of June 2026; the rest are dormant, un-updated or belong to investors who have left the market. New-investor figures are from the EGX chairman, September 2026.

On the estimates. The ≈35M overlap deduplicates social identities to real adult users and intersects with the 79% inclusion rate. The ≈10M investable-surplus figure is a judgement, not a survey result.

Three ways to collaborate

One show. Three paths.

Sponsors and partners can engage through three distinct collaboration models — each structured for a different objective. Per-episode rates step down as commitment scales.

Model one

Partnerships

Long-form integrated content built around a partner company. Tiered by market cap.

Commitment 1–12 episodes
Content pieces 15+ to 160+
Timeline 1–2 to 16–32 weeks

Model two

Sponsorships

Recurring branded presence within episodes. Tiered by exclusivity — the fewer the sponsors, the larger the share of voice.

Commitment 4–52 episodes
Content pieces 4+ to 52+
Timeline 4–6 weeks to 1 year

Model three

Advertisements

In-episode audio spots, placed by where they fall in the run of show.

Commitment 4–26 episodes
Content pieces 4+ to 25+
Timeline 1–2 to 24–26 weeks

Rates are shared on request. Every model is priced per episode in EGP, with the per-episode rate stepping down as the commitment scales. Tell us the objective and we will send the rate card for the tiers that fit it.
